CAPE YAMU, PHUKET, THAILAND

Cape Yamu is Phuket’s most elegant private community, set on a wooded peninsula overlooking the soaring limestone islands of Phang Nga Bay. World-leading designer Philippe Starck and visionary architect Jean-Michel Gathy, well known for his work with Aman resorts, have created a villa development that includes elegant private residences with private access to a world class spa and restaurant, and a variety of other luxury services.

Seventeen villas in the exceptional Cape Yamu development are well on their way to completion and construction will begin soon on another eleven. Just two plots remain to be sold.

Now, however, Campbell Kane (Thailand) has begun construction nearby of The Yamu, the company’s signature resort. The Yamu will be surrounded by stunning privately-owned villas, ranging from the Club Villas, which will form an exclusive hotel-within-the-hotel, to the absolute-seafront Villa Estates, each with a master pavilion and three guest pavilions, set in tropical gardens with four swimming pools.

Like the villas in the Cape Yamu development, The Yamu and the surrounding homes have been designed by Gathy and Starck. The resort and the villas, along with the spa and the private marina, will be run by GHM, the management company of the world’s foremost hotelier, Adrian Zecha of Aman Resorts fame.
