Newsletter of January 2006

Welcome to The Cape Yamu Newsletter, 2 nd Edition. A lot of exciting things are going on around the Cape Yamu project site. As we enter Phuket High Season, we will be beginning construction on the first Villas in February. Our Back of House, Show Pavilion and main road along the Estate are nearly finished and we have begun construction on the Clubhouse. All this progress is a result of strong sales. Presently, we have only 5 remaining Estate Lots to be sold.

Our residential project is doing very well. Recently, we have welcomed new villa buyers here in Phuket. We are now 85% sold out (only 6 residential villas available) so it is time to make your move!!! The Back of House office is now operating with full support of our project management team. The completion of the Show Pavilion is scheduled for February. Our clients would be visiting us to view our models and material samples; which would be shown in the gallery there. The exhibition of the first group of villas takes place in February and 4 – 5 villas will be exhibited in subsequent months.

‘The Yamu' will be managed by GHM. We are preparing for the hotel's launch in Hong Kong this November at The Four Seasons. If you are in the area and would like to join our exhibition, please make your reservation in advance. The Yamu is the result of symbiotic collaboration between acclaimed designer Philippe Starck and renowned architect Jean-Michel Gathy. This splendid creation will offer a unique opportunity for those spoilt and pampered to experience the ultimate exclusive hotel in Phuket . There are 75 rooms in this boutique hotel boasting of a 100m long swimming pool, spa, 16 one-bedroom Club Villas which comes with private butler service, 2 gourmet restaurants and 13 Hotel Villas. We are proud to present our hotel logo and icon, and you can visualise our new hotel villa model at the exhibition held in Hong Kong .

Here are some photos of our construction progress , which has changed quite a bit since our last newsletter.
